Swan's Island Historical Society
Swan's Island Historical Society is currently under construction. After discovering significant decay in the support of the annex section, it was decided to remove that section and move the original building to a new site on the property to ensure better drainage and support. Luckily, the main building needs some work but is basically intact and able to be moved. Many thanks to everyone for all their help, hard work and financial support for getting us this far! Stay tuned for future updates!

Our Mission
The overall mission of the Historical Society is to discover, collect, preserve, exhibit, and interpret materials and objects pertaining to the history of the town of Swan’s Island, Maine and to sponsor and encourage public education, publications and public interest in the history of the town.
